An I, A Man Australian Tour 2014 has been announced to promote the release of their full-length debut album, Gravity Wins Again.

The versatile Melbourne four-piece are hitting the road, heading up the East Coat and across to Adelaide, throughout May and June to deliver their well-crafted live show to the wider country.

The Gravity Wins Again album tour follows release of the record of the same name, following gaining praise both here in Australia and abroad for the first two singles ‘Less Travelled’ and ‘In Time’.

Released in 11th April via their own label We Swimmers, I, A Man’s debut album has earned attention from local tastemakers and press, including our Tone Deaf reviewer, who hailed the album as making I, A Man “heirs apparent to Melbourne’s thoughtful guitar rock lineage” in a 7.5/10 review.

“I, A Man’s cosmopolitan approach finds them settle into the overlap where the best parts of indie-minded American and Australian guitar rock bands meet. A proverbial musical embassy where ambassadors like Yo La Tengo, Wilco, and Low barter ideas with Underground Lovers and The Go-Betweens.”

The forthcoming May/June tour will be the first opportunity for an interstate audience to hear the album tracks live.
