We’ve already seen famous album covers re-created with socks, kittens, and facepaint (ahhh, the internet) and the latest discovery is that classic record sleeves look fantastic when viewed through the learning eyes of very young children.

Introducing Album Covers By Kids, a Tumblr site that does exactly what it says on the tin, exhibiting the coloured texta and pencil artwork of creative children who exclusively draw the front covers of albums. The page (like its subjects) is still in its early stages, but has already presented some pretty adorable work; the best part? They also take submissions. So if you have a particularly talented family relation, get them some butcher paper, a pack of crayons, and a copy of a classic LP (we’re surprised nobody’s done Nevermind yet).

We’ve pulled a selection of our favourite kids covers for your perusal, so you can appreciate just how great this simple concept is. Feel free to print them off and stick them on your refrigerator for the full ‘proud parent’ effect.
