The CherryRock 2014 playing times have been revealed for both the Melbourne and Sydney legs of the one-day event.

CherryRock 2014 will first kick off at its native home at Cherry Bar in AC/DC Lane, co-headlined by the legendary Meat Puppets and stoner rock legend Brant Bjork, who will close the night with back-to-back sets at CherryRock’s outdoor stage following sets from Melbourne favourites like King Of The North, Redcoats, and Bitter Sweet Kicks.

Meanwhile, the rock venue’s indoor stage will host the likes of High Tension, Drunk Mums, Child, and a final set from Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk before Meat Puppets close the event outside.

It’s a similar running order for CherryRock’s first ever appearance in Sydney, taking over The Factory Theatre on the last day of this month with a similar outdoor/indoor stage set up, with the chief difference being that Sydney locals Gay Paris take the honours of closing the outdoor stage following a set from Hell City Glamours. View the full playing times below.

Despite CherryRock’s Sydney expansion, Cherry Bar co-owner has indicated that the Melbourne edition is set to be the “last ever” in its current configuration, owing to a residential complex overlooking the AC/DC Lane live music venue opening this June putting an end to the one-day rock extravaganza.

“The fine line is this is positively the last one of its type,” Young told Tone Deaf last month, “the reality is there’s no way we’ll be able to repeat what we’ve done for the last 8 years ever again, and we’re not sure what the ‘go forward’ model will be.”

Meaning this Sunday 25th May will be your last chance to enjoy one of the most vibrant rock events Melbourne has to offer…
