We’ve written about some pretty amazing festivals located in picturesque and unique settings before, a few of which have occurred on cruise liners. Music festivals on boats seems like a pretty novel idea, but the more we researched the concept the more successful cruises we discovered.

As it turns out there are quite a few boat-based festivals that depart from North America and even in our own backyard. Sure the following acts that curb seasickness to play for their fans may not be considered in the A-grade of their class, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something unique about seeing a live band on a sea-faring vessel.
