After seeing Violent Soho’s on the road footage, blazing up and dancing to Toto’s ‘Africa’ on their Groovin the Moo tour, we hardly blame you if – like us- you were hankering for more behind the scenes festival footage.

Right on cue, now there’s some more fascinating band’s eye view filmmaking featuring one of Australia’s biggest music festivals, the hard and heavy Soundwave, from the perspective of nu-metal veterans KoRn.

Tracing the Californian five-piece’s journey from America to Australia as part of this year’s 90+ strong Soundwave 2014 lineup, the documentary is hosted by drummer Ray Luzier and contains footage from all five capital cities where Korn shared the stage with Avenged Sevenfold and Rob Zombie on Stage 3 of the massive touring event.

The 23-minute feature contains plenty of insight for Soundwave buffs and Korn diehards alike, from hanging out backstage with fellow musicians like Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 and Deftones/Crosses frontman Chino Moreno, to monkeying around in the nation’s Zoos and jetting around Sydney Harbour on their days off.

There’s also a ton of live performance footage from each leg of Soundwave 2014 as Korn frontman Jonathan Davis encourages their enormous crowds to mosh hard, telling Perth to “get your motherfucking hands in the air” at what turned out to be the festival’s last ever appearance in the city.

Be sure to stick around until the end of the video to see how much care Davis’ H.R. Giger (R.I.P.)-crafted mic stand receives and some more joking around with Chino Moreno.
