Since he’s now close to being the ‘first billionaire in hip hop‘ after selling Beats Electronics to Apple for $3 billion, Dr Dre needs the luxury mansion befitting the lifestyle of the money-making producer, rapper, and boutique headphones mogul.

The 49-year-old has outgrown his former mansion, a lavish Hollywood Hills estate, and is now selling the property for a cool $35 million on the real estate market.

Like other musician’s homes we’ve previously taken a peek into, Dr. Dre’s digs are as suitably swanky as John Lennon‘sDave Grohl‘s old pads, though his taste in decor isn’t as bizarre as that of Prince or Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan. Nevertheless, the property listing on Redfin describes the Los Angeles home as “perched atop a promontory and gated at the end of a cul-de-sac.”

The house that The Chronic built is splayed over 9,696 square feet and features nine bathrooms, six bedrooms, an “infinity edge” pool, guest house, wine cellar, library, and media den.

The biggest selling point is the “jetliner 300 degree” view of the Hollywood Hills, described as “without question, the best view estate in the city” as it overlooks LA all the way to the Pacific Ocean.

Dre first purchased the estate in 2011 for $15,4000, meaning if he sells for the full $35 million he’s looking to profit double – ever the businessman. That hefty chunk of change will no doubt help towards the $40 million he spent on his new home, a Brentwood mansion that formerly belonged to supermodel Gisele Bundchen and American footballer husband, New England Patriots player Tom Brady, as LA Times reports.

The doctor’s new pad is bigger, at 14,000-square-foot, and still contains all the luxury trimmings a rap superstar desires. Plus Dre must have a water fetish, the new property features an infinity pool, a moat, and even a waterfall. Here’s what it looks like:
