We’re all for highlighting awesome jobs in the music industry ’round these parts, and here’s an offer that’s too cool to ignore, even if it is a little sketchy.

Start giving your CV a little bling up, because The Wu Tang Clan reckon their Facebook and Twitter accounts are in need a serious shake-up and you could find yourself working for the legendary rap posse.

The Wu’s search for a social media expert in the lead-up to the release of their new secret double album-come-museum artefact has seen them turning to the internet’s prime magnet for dodgy job listings: Craiglist.

“Wu-Tang Management is currently looking for people that are versed in social media networking and also up on the newest social networking trends,” reads the post, as SPIN points out.

The hip hop crew and their management also have a long list of responsibilities for their prospective social media guru, who would also be in attendance at the Clan’s events, shows, and press.

“We are looking for individuals that are able to set appointed times thorough the day to do social media updates and stay consistent with posts,” the Craigslist call-out reads. “The perfect candidate would be someone that is available for various events to document footage and pictures on all social media outlets i.e Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.”

So far, so C.R.E.A.M right? Not quite, if you really want to plug the likes of RZA, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, and co. – proceed with caution.

Despite the fact that the Wu have people lining up to make million-dollar offers for the one and only copy of their prized art piece/double LPOnce Upon A Time In Shaolin, they’re offering a far less glamorous fee to their new social media recruit: zero dollars.

That’s right. The New Jersey based social media role is an internship that offers “no pay” as compensation, just the chance to roll around with the influential group, get some one-of-a-kind experience, and probably helping mediate any online Twitter beef between members. And given Raekwon went “on strike” earlier this year due to artistic differences, as SPIN reports, that could be happen more often than anyone would like.

Still, Wu-Tang’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram feeds are only going to get busier as the feuding posse aims to settle their differences for the completion of their other new album, A Better Tomorrow.

As a side note, Consequence Of Sound points out that it’s not the first time the Wu-Tang Clan have used Craiglist to get their dirty deeds done dirt cheap. In 2011, they put the call out for an intern to work in video and radio production, as well as maintaining (now very outdated) social network Wu-World.com.
