Ex-Sydney locals (now Londoners) Howling Bells have recently released their fourth studio album Heartstrings.

After a two-year hiatus between the release of 2011’s The Loudest Engine and the recording of Heartstrings in Autumn 2013, the band have found a renewed sense of energy.

Now they’ve just released a Glassmaps remix of their single ‘Your Love’. Glassmaps is actually the solo project from Joel Stein, Howling Bell’s lead guitarist.

In the Glassmaps remix of ‘You Love’, Joel draws the vocals of Howling Bell vocalist (and his sister) Juanita Steins to the forefront of the track, while letting the minimalist beat carry the song forward. Elegantly basic, this remix gives fans of Howling Bells a new way to enjoy the band compared to their usually drums and guitar driven sound.

In celebration of the band’s latest release, they’llbe visitiong Australia for a very short string of shows. For more info you can www.howlingbells.co.uk
