The Kingswood Australian Tour 2014 has been announced as the Melbourne rockers unleash their latest single from their forthcoming debut album.

‘I Can Feel That You Don’t Love Me’, is the latest number to be lifted from Kingswood’s Microscopic Wars (out via Dew Process on Friday 22nd August), recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee with Grammy Award winning producer Vance Powell (Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, Kings Of Leon).

Where its predecessor ‘Suckerpunch’ captured the band at their fists-out-finest, rocking the infamous late-night spot Cherry Bar, ‘I Can Feel That You Don’t Love Me’ reveals Kingswood’s raw emotive side. With feverish lyrics and cool refrains as guitarist Alex Laska steps up to take over lead vocals for the first time.

There are two interesting things on this track,” Kingswood’s frontman Fergus Linacre explained in an interview with Triple J. “We have a Moog Synthseiser – the Little Fatty – all over the record… and, here’s the biggest one: I’m not singing on it. It’s Alex – he’s always sung for Kingswood, but usually he does harmonies. He has a deep brooding voice. I can’t get down that low. We’re trying to bring sexy back to rock and roll.”

The success of Kingswood’s first EP Change of Heart saw the band – Linacre, Laska, Mango Hunter and Justin Debrincat –  playing stages across the country with their refreshing free and wild style. Known for their thrashy guitars and bluesy vocal melodies, Kingswood soon found themselves alongside the likes of Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire and The Deftones performing at Big Day Out, as well as winning the coveted ‘Triple J Unearthed Splendour in the Grass’ competition and touring nationally for ‘Suckerpunch’.

Along with dropping their new single, the Kingswood Australian Tour 2014 dates have been announced as the hard-working quartet once more hurl themselves across the country to coincide with the release of Microscopic Wars. Special guests to be announced, dates are below, tickets go on sale 9am Friday July 4. You can also pre-order a physical or digital copy of the album when you purchase a ticket to their show.
