Social Family Records Label & Marketing Coordinator

North Sydney start-up, Social Family Records, is growing and with that expansion comes the need for a “self-motivated, highly creative and experienced Label & Marketing Coordinator.” That means helping come up with creation of PR and marketing campaigns for each release on the Social Family Records roster, home to heritage Aussie rockers and award winning artists like Baby Animals, Noseworks, Christine Anu, and The Dead Daisies. Those who can “buck the trend” in mixing traditional label marketing with direct-to-fan social and digital ideas will get the edge, and considering the good company the label keeps (such as distributors EMI/Universal, Jaden Social, and George Said MGMT) there’s plenty of career doors this role could open in future.

There’s also sales management involved (because what’s the point of great content if no-one reads it?), driving traffic and sales targets for online and print. If you’ve got a grasp of the current media landscape and some killer ways to contribute to it, then take a look at the criteria and get cracking.

Sydney Opera House Marketing Coordinator, Brand, Loyalty & Partners

“The Sydney Opera House embodies beauty, inspiration and the liberating power of art and ideas,” so reads the mission statement of the iconic venue, who are seeking an individual to embody these inspirational venues as they help develop and implement marketing support for the Opera House. A 12-month contract with a healthy salary, someone with marketing nous – from campaigns to communication – should apply for the responsibility of increasing the brand and profile of the Sydney Opera House both in-house and to venue hirers (residential and commercial). We guess that would included promoting the annual (and very ace) Sydney VIVID Live festival.
