A Bruce Foxton From The Jam Australian Tour 2015 has been announced.
From The Jam is comprised of Bruce Foxton – bassist for legendary punk and new wave mods The Jam – and Russell Hastings, and they’re planning to return to Australian shores next year for the ‘That’s Entertainment’ Tour.
Playing in capital cities and regional venues around the country in March, 2015, fans can expect to hear classic The Jam hits such as ‘Down In The Tube Station At Midnight’, ‘Going Underground’, ‘Town Called Malice’ and ‘The Modern World’ as well as some live favourites and songs from Foxton’s solo career. That includes his latest, Back In the Room, featuring former bandmates Paul Weller and Steve Cropper as special guests.
The Bruce Foxton From The Jam Australian Tour 2015 remains the true way to experience the kind of incendiary live performances that raised The Jam to prominence all those years ago.
First exploding onto the punk scene in 1977, the band – then Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton, and Rick Buckler – had a ferocious mission statement but also a cutthroat nous for hit-making, crafting a catalogue featuring 18 UK Top 40 singles. The Jam went on to become one of the greatest and best selling bands in British music history, with classic albums – like All Mod Cons, Setting Sons, and In The City – still having a lasting cultural impact today.
