Presentation Night is a conversation between a footballer who loves music, and a musician who loves football. It’s a live talk show that takes Australian Rules football and music as starting points for a discussion about our great obsessions – love, life, how to win the flag, how kicking a ball and writing songs define us. It’s about learning something new about our heroes, and ourselves.

Under the warm glow of the spotlight JUDE BOLTON (Sydney Swans legend, two time premiership player, Nick Cave fan) and URTHBOY aka TIM LEVINSON(Australian hip-hop royalty, Elefant Traks founder, Swans obsessive) come together to discuss their mutual love of music and footy in ways that are philosophical, funny and surprising

In our first Sydney show Jude and Urthboy will tackle the big issues: what are the similarities between musicians and footballers? How do friendships form? We’ll take a look inside their kitbags, unearth surprising trophies, talk about who scares them on the field or on stage.  We ask about our footballers’ favourite albums and our musicians’ favourite footballers – and much, much more.
These conversations last longer than a tweet – and that’s the point. A bit of meandering and a touch of digression will be encouraged.  It’s the equivalent of the slow food movement for Sherrin kickers and string strokers.  It’s a chance to learn something new about the role footy and music play in our protagonists’ lives and, with a bit of luck, maybe even a bit about how kicking a ball and writing songs can define us.
