Another one from the major label, this time from Universal Music Publishing Group’s licensing team. Essentially, you’ll be sorting out getting the roster (a massive list from David Bowie to the Living End and beyond) in front of film, TV, advertising, and games industry music supervisors, to help the fulfil their soundtrack and licensing needs. For example, pitching The XX for that key emotional moment in a season finale, or sprucing up a themed playlist for Microsoft to pore over for their new blockbuster computer game. If you’re all over SoundCloud, know how to craft a killer online presence, and love cutting-edge electronic music – this job vacancy’s a no-brainer. Sydney’s Neon Records – who reps the likes of Skrillex, Justice, Rudimental, Knife Party, and David Guetta – is looking to expand their online presence with interesting content, as well as for someone to open up their digital marketing channels through social media and streaming services like YouTube and Spotify.
