Local dream pop duo Magic Hands is comprised of Alex Badham of experimental pop band Aleks and the Ramps and lyrical folk songstress Lucy Roleff. The two- piece have just released the video to their stunning track ‘Limousine’. Directed by Alex Badham, the video is a glamour meets gore ode to contemporary dance and the at times sinister competition of gymnastic sports. Filmed over two days during winter in a frigid basketball stadium, the clip is Magic Hands’ most ambitious to date, featuring professional dancers Hana Dawson and Jack Traylen.

Over the past 12 months they Badham and Roleff have written and recorded their debut album Let Me Hold You While You Fail  between a cement basement in inner-city Melbourne, a Berlin apartment and a coastal holiday house in rural Victoria. Somewhere amongst that, they released their first two singles ‘Golden Boy’ and ‘Tone’, with accompanying music videos, before returning to Germany to live and tour for several months.

Having just launched their new track ‘Limosine’, the duo are now preparing to release their debut album Let Me Hold You While You Fail through boutique label Finger Wave Records September 5.
