Adelaide quartet Bad//Dreems are killing it at the moment. The band are currently on the road with The Preatures, performing sold-out shows across the nation, leaving in their trail a rising sea of fans.

Today, the four-piece have dropped their brand new single ‘My Only Friend,’ and to no surprise, it fuckin’ wails.

The track sees Bad//Dreems explore the darker, more bleak depths of their rusted grunge aesthetic, ditching fuzzy guitars for more alt-rock meandering riffs one might catch on a Built To Spill record.

Ben Marwe utilises his signature chainsaw-raw vocals as he howls “Do you think I’m good enough? Never have been good enough” producing that kind of “kicking the dirt after a shit day” forlorn typed tale of despair.

‘My Only Friend’ is a breath of fresh Bad//Dreems air, jam-packed with frustrated emotion and soothing sonics that’ll see you mashing the repeat button again and again and again.
