Melbourne’s own Gena Rose Bruce is making a mark with her haunting new single, ‘Blazing Radio’. Produced by Jan Skubiszewski – the brains behind Way Of The Eagle, who has also worked with artists such as The Cat Empire, Owl Eyes & John Butler Trio – ‘Blazing Radio’ is a dark indie-pop release full of intrigue and heart-punching poignancy. Akin to the likes of Warpaint and Lana Del Ray, Bruce’s smoky-to-silky vocals – coupled with the song’s piano-driven melody – is striking a powerful cord with listeners across the country.

The 21-year-old singer songwriter, who was a finalist in this year’s International Songwriting Competition alongside The Preatures, has been busy touring this year with Ella Hooper and Bonjah, to name a few.  The video for ‘Blazing Radio’ was directed by the multi-talented BONJAH frontman Glenn Mossop.

To celebrate the release of ‘Blazing Radio’, Bruce will launch the track on Saturday 2nd August at Yah Yah’s in Melbourne.
