Melbourne garage psych four piece The Grand Rapids have just released ‘Coper Girl’ the A-Side off their upcoming 7″ via local label Psyche Ward. Clocking in at under two and a half minutes, ‘Copper Girl’ is the first we’ve heard from the guys since the release of their 2013 album Great Shakes.

The catchy, swirling, 60s inspired ‘Copper Girl’ was was recorded at Newmarket Studio and mixed Sing Sing Studios by Callum Barter (British India, Fraser A Gorman) and sees the guys channeling some serious Brian Jonestown Massacre vibes while still maintaining their own unique sound.

In support of the upcoming 7″ The Grand Rapids will be hitting the road on a four date tour. For more info visit the band’s Facebook page.
