‘Don’t Marry The One You Love’ is the latest single from Melbourne (via Sydney) folk auteur Laura Jean. A follow up to ‘First Love Song’, ‘Don’t Marry the One You Love’ is the second single off Laura Jean’s upcoming self-titled album, which was recorded with PJ Harvey producer John Parish.

Featuring Norwegian singer, composer, lyricist and writer Jenny Hval on back up vocal duties, ‘Don’t Marry’ is a wry exposition on the dangers of commitment, “I married the one I loved and sometimes I regret it” a beautiful anti-love song.

Laura Jean’s upcoming self-titled LP is set for release August 22 via Chapter Music
