On the eve of their 25-date North America tour, Melbourne five-piece Jakubi have dropped the highly anticipated video for their latest online hit ‘Couch Potato’.
The clip for ‘Couch Potato’, follows a girl (Couch Potato) who embraces a relaxed view on life – much to the disapproval of her father. The video draws playful comparisons to the tale, brought to life by the band’s irresistible combination of smooth vocals, jangle guitars and sailing hip hop beats.
Adding to the success of the track and their Australian tour, the hip hop/pop/grunge collective have announced that they will collaborate with renowned musical heavyweight
Mike Posner while in America.
Posner’s enviable career includes penning tracks for artists such as Pharrell Williams, Nelly and Snoop Dogg, writing Justin Bieber’s smash ‘Boyfriend’ and releasing his own hits ‘Bow Chicka Wow Wow’, ‘Please Don’t Go’ and ‘Cooler Than Me’.
