Local MC Hau Latukefu lives and breathes hip hop, he’s been writing and performing for over 20 years both as a solo act and as the frontman for legendary duo Koolism.

Now putting more focus into his solo career, Hau is today launching his Football, Feasts And Funerals mixtape, which will be followed by debut solo LP The No End Theory later this year.

If Hau’s name sounds familiar, that’s because since 2008 he’s been presenting and producing Triple J’s hip hop show serving listener with the best new hip hop every week, he’s also currently the longest serving presenter in the show’s history.

Listening to Hau’s effortlessly intoxicating flow it’s clear to see why he’s been asked to provide guest vocals for acts like The Hilltop Hoods, Urthboy and Hermitude, while keeping up with the new generation including Remi, Briggs and Mr Hill And Rahjconkas. Hau’s collaborations also extend to overseas artists including UK pioneer, Rodney P, US wordsmith, Casual and more recently, Oddisee.

Keep your eye out for Hau’s debut LP The No End Theory due for release later this year. For more info you can visit this Facebook page.
