A Dream Theater Australian Tour 2014 has been announced as the band return Down Under for their first headline shows in 5 years.

Reigning progressive metal royalty for close to 30 years now, Dream Theater will visit Australia for the first time since 2009, performing a pair of ‘An Evening With Dream Theater’ concerts in Sydney and Melbourne this October, presented by Metropolis Touring and Tombowler.

The supreme lords of the genre own their style, best described as mixing the progressive tendencies of bands such as Pink Floyd, Rush and Yes with the metal edge of Metallica and Iron Maiden, Dream Theater have recorded over 10 million album sales around the world to a fanatical diehard fanbase. T
