Well then, Melbourne rockers Kingswood have got the thing to stroke your ego.
The band have only just released their new video for ‘ICFTYDLM’ ahead of dropping their much-anticipated full-length debut, Microscopic Wars, but the quartet are setting about making their next vid – and they want their fans to be a part of it.
In a post on Facebook addressed to the “Good Kaywoodians of Sydney,” Kingswood write, “we are shooting a music video and on Friday night [15th August – tonight) and we need your help!”
Rather than ‘pulling a Coldplay’ and marching through the streets with an army of fans, Kingswood’s video is more of a party; “The scene is a girls 18th birthday party and we need you guys to come and be extras and hang out, dance, drink, and have a wonderful time. There you have it, so ditch your plans and be quick on the Gmail trigger if you want your chance to cameo in a bit of Kingswood history.
Even if you miss out, there’s still a chance to unofficially party with the band as they embark on a full-scale national tour to celebrate the release of Microscopic Wars (out via Dew Process on Friday 22nd August).
Following slaying Splendour In The Grass, Kingswood will be hurling themselves across the country for the next three months, taking emerging hardcore sensations The Sinking Teeth and Tassie punks Luca Brasi along for the ride.
