POND leading figure, founding member of Mink Mussel Creek, ex-Tame Impala bass-player, one half of Allbrook/Avery, drummer with Peter Bibby and music maker with so many others, the prolific Nicholas Allbrook is gearing up to release his first solo record.

‘100 k’s ‘round Carmel’ is the first official from the upcoming release, and it’s a fusion of lo-fi psychedelic with an almost R&B style chorus, you could say it’s Ariel Pink-equse, but to compare Allbrook to anyone is almost to detract from his own unique and sophisticated songwriting.

The album titled Ganough, Wallis and Fatuna is set for release September 5th via Spinning Top Records, and will be released in 2 formats: as a digital download on Friday September 5th and also on Vinyl on Friday October 10th.
