Following on from announcing their terrific first round of acts, the AWME 2014 lineup has expanded with another round of additions to the bill for the seventh edition of the Australasian Worldwide Music Expo.

Taking place in Melbourne from the 13th – 16th November, AWME 2014 will once again be stocked with high-profile speakers across a broad conference program featuring around 500 local and international music and arts industry professionals. Accompanying the panels and expo is an array of local and international talent performing showcases, featuring every kind of music genre – from soul to hip hop, jazz to rock, ska to reggae, you name it.

Leading the second AWME 2014 lineup announcement, playing a series of showcases, is world-class guitarist and songwriter, Frank Yamma; the massive Melbourne Ska Orchestra, fresh from a blistering international tour dazzing audiences at Glastonbury and Montreal Jazz Festival; NZ-via-Melbourne blues belters BONJAH – and making their AWME debut will be soulful storyteller Glenn Skuthorpe and South Africa’s Afro-folk maverick Bongeziwe Mabandla.

Also joining the AWME fray are Caribbean rhythm-makers Bustamento, Brisbane’s soul-diers Black Indie, Scotland’s Finding Albert, Oz-Italian act Santa Taranta, plus New Zealand’s Louis Baker, Batucada Sound Machine, and Tha Feelstyle. Rounding out the cosmopolitan mix is hip hop soul group Radical Son, SA folk act Timberwolf, soul singer Hailey Cramer, classy crooner Marlon Williams, singer-songwriter Benny Walker, Calypso shakers Mighty Duke & The Lords, The Ska Vendors, and Leah Flanagan

The roster of artists will be performing at various showcases at Melbourne venues such as The Arts Centre Melbourne, The Hi-Fi, The Toff, Ding Dong Lounge, Shebeen and Lounge.

AWME will also be announcing the roster of high profile keynote speakers for this year’s conference soon too, providing a platform for musicians, industry, and associates to come together and foster stronger relationships on both domestically, overseas, and in all corners of the globe for four days of music and networking.
