This year has officially been the year of the boutique music festival, with a number of fresh upstarts picking up the pieces left as some of Australia’s biggest music festivals have fallen over or suffered major attendance drops.

A few weeks ago saw the announcement of a brand new camping music festival to be held over New Year’s on Phillip Island in Victoria. Now those north are set to join in on the New Year’s fun with a brand new music festival launched today.

Christened Lost Paradise, the festival will be held in the lush surrounds of picturesque Glenworth Valley (NSW), formerly the home of Peats Ridge Music Festival; and taking inspiration from the UK’s Wilderness Festival, Secret Garden Festival, and Bestival.

The new three day camping music festival is brought to you by the same guys behind fledging Sydney music festival Lost Picnic which launched earlier this year.

Held from 30th December to 1st January, organisers are promising three days of “glamping escape” for 5000 people featuring live music from the likes of Boy & Bear, The Preatures, Allday, and more.

The festival will also feature crowd-funded art installations in collaboration with Pozible, shambhala area hosted by internationally renowned acro-yoga collective Yoga Beyond including Yoga, Reiki, Massage and other healing arts, an exciting array of food carefully curated to delight a variety of palette and much more.

In addition, much like it’s Southern cousin Beyond The Valley, the festival will be offering a number of luxury glamping options befitting of a Rich Kids of Instagram post or two. How glamp are we talking here? Let’s just say arriving at the festival by chopper is an option.

Tickets for the first edition of Lost Paradise and on sale now, tickets are $259 each plus booking fee from here
(Glamping, arrival by helicopter and other add-ons carry additional fees).
