Brooklyn four-piece TV On The Radio return in 2014 with their fifth studio album, Seeds. While you’ll have to wait until November 14th for the release they’ve given us a tantalising taste in lead single, Happy Idiot.

The track has all the indie rock and funk hallmarks of their past work, but there is no doubt that ‘Happy Idiot’ has underlying tones of darkness. “I’m gonna bang my head through the wall until I feel like nothing at all,” sings Tunde Adebimpe.

Seeds is the band’s first offering since the death of their bassist in Gerard Smith in 2011. Listen to the “ignorance is bliss” sentiments of the song below.
