To celebrate the release of his debut album “Daniel Lee Kendall Is Dead”Daniel Lee Kendall is set to embark on TheFuneral Tour this November. Taking inBrisbane, Melbourne, the Central Coast and Sydney respectively, this tour marks his long awaited return to east coast stages.

Having previously toured with the likes of Passenger, Old Man River, Hungry Kids of Hungary and more, DLK cut his teeth on the touring circuit early in his career. After an extended break from music, it was Daniel’s natural progression to focus on the recorded material first. Now, with the release of “Daniel Lee Kendall Is Dead” only an arms length away, getting back on stage is the next step.

“It’s kind of weird. These songs are from a former life, so playing them live will almost feel like I’m doing a covers gig. Though that will mean I can take the weight off it a bit and probably enjoy the whole process a lot more. I’ve never done my own tour before, so that’s also an odd little paradox: that my first tour is also my “Funeral Tour”. I’ll have a really good fun band with me, which I’m stoked about, so I think it’s going to be quite enjoyable,” muses Forsyth.

It’s been over two years since the troubadour took to the stage, with the drought to be broken just ahead of The Funeral Tour. This Saturday, September 13 DLK performs a very special matinee album launch at Loo Loo’s Warehouse in his homeland of NSW’s Central Coast. For more information on this free show, click HERE.

After embracing the single ‘Under A Spell’, fans can also tune in to triple j this Friday morning to hear DLK put his spin on someone else’s track for their famous Like A Version segment.
