Formed in 2012 Rainy Day Women signalled their arrival into the Australian music scene with their debut single ‘Sleigh Bed’, a track which went on to went on to win the coveted WAM Song of the Year.

Not ones to sit still, the four piece followed up with the release of their Friends EP which resulted in national radio play, online love and the opportunity to tour throughout Australia.  A pretty impressive effort from a bunch of friends from school with a shared appreciation for bands such as The Sleepy Jackson, The Panics, Bon Iver, Elliott Smith and The Strokes.

The guys have now released ‘Mrs Jones’, the killer new track taken from their upcoming LP Ain’t It Time.

Recorded in a farmhouse near Margaret River in Western Australia where the band set up a makeshift studio Ain’t It Time will be released October 3rd via  littleBIGMANrecords. For more info on Rainy Day Women, you can visit their Facebook page.
