Ticket-holders for the Meredith Music Festival are only just beginning to get their plans sorted, but right on time, plans for the sister event are here.

The Golden Plains 2015 ticket ballot for the annual music festival opens today, set to take place at the splendid surrounds of the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre from March 7th to the 9th, 2015.

Sign up at www.goldenplains.com.au before 9:09pm on Monday 13 October 2014 (it’s a quick one this year), and follow the prompts.

The Subscriber Ticket Ballot gets first dibs, before the rest go of the Golden Plains tickets go on sale. There are two rounds (draws) of the Ballot. The First Round available only to existing Subscribers; the Second Round is open to new Subscribers as well as existing Subscribers. A maximum of 3 tickets per person applies to Ballot sales.

Two rounds of ticket offers are made via email to successful applicants; one on or around October 15, and one on or around October 23.

You only have to enter once. Any Subscribers who are unsuccessful in the first round are automatically entered into the second round ballot.

There’s only the one type of ticket: the full three-day Golden Plains experience (Saturday to Monday with camping and parking) for $328.80 + $10 (b/f), and a ticket gets you so much more than just three days worth of music from a gloriously eclectic and lovingly selected lineup.

Unlike previous years, Aunty Meredith has opted to hold out announcing any acts on the 2015 lineup, but with this year’s edition of the festival hosting the likes of Public Enemy, Flying Lotus, and Neko Case, you can be sure it’s going to be well worth the wait.

Lineup aside, the Meredith integrity remains – same number of people as last year, no commercial sponsors, BYO; plenty of Time and Space for everyone, the No D!ckhe@ds rule, and one stage to ensure you miss nothing and experience everything.
