We’re big fans of Melbourne avant-pop five piece Dear Plastic, which is why today we’re excited to be premiering their debut album The Thieves Are Babes (out via MGM on October 3rd).

Earlier they released one of the most impressive local video clips we’ve seen in a while for their single ‘Buck Up And Pay The Reaper‘. They’re now releasing an equally impressive LP which showcases the band’s indomitable mastery of analogue modular synths, glitchy trip hop beats, thundering live drums, and shimmering electronic textures all carried by the stunning vocal talents of Scarlette Baccini, check it out for yourself below.

They’ll be launching the album at The Gasometer on Saturday October 11th, alongside Beloved Elk and The Let Your Hair Down Girls
