Andras & Oscar, the combined project of prolific Melbourne pals Andras Fox and Oscar Key Sung, continue to redefine what it means to be smooth in 2014.

The suave pair – and ex-housemates, fun fact – are releasing their sophomore album Cafe Romantica on October 17th, and now they’ve just dropped the video for the LP’s second single, ‘Looking Back’.

The clip – which Andras says is a “direct homage” to The Reels’ ‘I Don’t Love You Anymore’ – sees the boys giving all their friends some fleeting camera time in a clever one-take sequence that includes baby goats, a dance break featuring parachute pants, and lots of beautiful Melburnians. It’s brilliant, and officially goes down as Fox’s second serious contender for our favourite video of the year after the cinematic genius that is his clip for ‘Pontoon’.

The song itself, meanwhile, is a pastel-coloured pop track with a tropical flavour, gliding along on a leisurely house melody with plumes of breezy synth chords, summery marimba chimes, and Oscar’s serenading velvety vocals.

Smooth.
