Central Coast indie rockers Sea Legs have been kicking some seriousl goals lately including major love online and being added to spot rotation on Triple J.

In June, the band completed a 10-show east coast tour with the likes of British India, Lurch & Chief and Dune Rats playing multiple sell out shows and a performance recently at a sold out UTS Winterfest, featuring Violent Soho, DMA’s and SAFIA.

To follow this up and further spread the word of their insanely catchy ‘Christopher Strong’, some tour dates have just been announced, with shows scheduled for November and December.

The story behind goes like this: Sea Legs’ frontman Byron Knight had a personal encounter with an elderly crippled women whilst on travels through the US back in 1998. He got talking with the unassuming lady as she told him of her elaborate ‘wildly colourful’ life story. At the time he didn’t take much notice of her seemingly tall tales, but later come to realise he was sharing stories with ex-hollywood star Katharine Hepburn who featured in films Christopher Strong, and The African Queen (1940). Her tales were amazing and true. Never judge someone based on appearance, take the time to learn ones story.
