Melbourne’s Brighter Later is the musical incarnation of songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist Jaye Kranz and her collaborators.

Having released an incredibly stunning debut full length last year, the self-produced, Coopers AMP (Australia Music Prize) nominated The Wolves, Kranz and co have now released the brand new single ‘Brace’. In typical Brighter Later fashion ‘Brace’ melts the grandiose and delicate into one, swelling and layering to produce the beautiful four and a half minute track.

Featuring long-time collaborator Virginia Bott, and contributions from newer band-member Patrick Dunn, the track also features Simon Bailey (Pony Face), Shane O’Mara, Sean Albers, and Dan Marsh (Human Face) – with special guest string arrangements by electronic producer Ned Beckley (Lower Spectrum). The song was mixed and mastered by Andy Stewart at The Mill in Gippsland, Australia.

The release of ‘Brace’ signifies a forthcoming second album due for release in 2015.
