Billy Idol has announced he will return to Australia this March for his first concert tour of Down Under since 2002. The rock icon will embark on an extensive set of tour dates as part of A Day On The Green’s previously announced lineup featuring Cheap Trick, The Angels, and Choirboys, in addition to a series of arena shows alongside Cheap Trick.
Idol, who will be touring with longtime collaborator and lead guitarist Steve Stevens, will be hot on the heels of a series of highly anticipated projects, including his long-awaited autobiography, Dancing With Myself, and his first album of new material since 2005, Kings & Queens of the Underground, which is out this Friday, 17th October.
This is a chance for fans old and new alike to experience one of the world’s most renowned rock and roll performers airing classic hits like ‘Eyes Without A Face’, ‘White Wedding’, and ‘Rebel Yell’, as well as material from his new album.
Idol will be fresh off the European and North American legs of his latest world tour and to make the experience something extra special for fans, he and Cheap Trick will be joined by The Angels and Choirboys in some cities. Check below for all dates and ticketing details.
