After months of nail-biting, fans can finally feast their ears on the sublime first track to be taken from US rock and roll giants Foo Fighers forthcoming new album, Sonic Highways. The song is titled ‘Something From Nothing’ and between the Sabbath-like riff interludes and the ‘Higher Ground’ keyboards, it serves as five-minute sonic highway unto itself.

The eighth studio album from the Foos is easily one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year and fans will finally be able to hear the whole thing when it drops worldwide on Monday, 10th November. The band have spent the past few months teasing us with snippets of the new album, airing short guitar passages during recent London performances, as well as including the intro from Something From Nothing in the trailers for the band’s upcoming HBO documentary series, also titled Sonic Highways, which chronicles the recording of the album in legendary studios around the US.
