The Adelaide Festival 2015 music lineup has been unveiled, showcasing yet another genre-bending bill of talented bands and artists, including post-rock favourites Mogwai, acclaimed UK producer Forest Swords, Kanye West collaborator Evian Christ, experimental rockers 65daysofstatic, and psychedelic trio Fushitsusha, featuring Japanese noise master Keiji Haino.

The artist lineup is complimented by an extensive roster of musical productions, including the Australian premiere of Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton, a celebration of the work of acclaimed composer Danny Elfman, who will appear alongside a full symphony orchestra and choir.

Other highlights include Tommy, a radical reimagining of the classic Who album, Fela! The Concert, a tribute to the father of Afrobeat and African cultural icon Fela Kuti, a residency from world-renowned composer Gavin Bryars, and the return of Unsound Adelaide with a new and exciting lineup.

Mogwai and 65daysofstatic, as well as the Australian debut of post-punk veterans The Pop Group and an appearance from Japanese art-metal 10-piece Vampillia will be one-night-only performances, while Freemason’s Hall will be hosting three nights of the freshest electronic and experimental sounds, including sets from techno godfathers Model 500, Hieroglyphic Being, Vatican Shadow, Shackleton, Mika Vainio, and more.
