Have you ever been so involved with a music video that you’ve wanted to dive into the screen and be apart of it? Well, thanks to South Australian indie-dreamers Alpha Beta Fox, you now can.

The Adelaide five-piece dun gone made the best bloody film clip known to man, creating a wholly interactive experience via PC for their stellar single ‘Something/Nothing’, as the folk at Musicfeeds point out.

By simply clicking this link one is taken straight to Alpha Beta Fox’s official website, where, as the band put it, “A Javascript/WebGL/3D programming tour de force” awaits you.

A brick wall with a door that leads to a fox circling a moon sets the initial inviting scene, which one must walk themselves into before the incredible adventure begins.

Once inside, users can control their own 360-view of the Alpha Beta Fox landscapes, dancing with funky stick-figures, soaring through the solar system before plunging head first into the starry psychedelic waves, all while the dreamy-gazed Breeders influenced ‘Something/Nothing’ sonically layers the experience.

On top of this, one can unleash their inner music video editor, having the ability to play with the colour schemes of the clip to exactly what you feel is the best.

The masterpiece was created by a friend of the band, James Reid, all for the hearty cost of a meal at Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurant. In speaking with Musicfeeds, Alpha Beta Fox stated that it took Reid only a few months to finish the video, “[Reid] was reading about tesseracts, then thought why not put it in the video, with people dancing around it in space. We thought it was pretty awesome.”

We love this vid, and if you’ve got a spare 4-minutes, we definitely recommend you climb aboard the Alpha Beta Fox ship and take an interstellar psych-space voyage, it’ll be one of the best journey you take all week.
