Is there really much left to be said of Gwen Stefani?

The vast majority of us first fell in love with the songstress back in her ska-pop days of No Doubt, the remainders being swept up by her solo releases of Love. Angel. Music. Baby and The Sweet Escape.

Although Stefani took quite a break from recording music, the 45-year old has remained in the public eye working in fashion as well as a judge on the US’ The Voice and now finally we see the return of the innovative pop artist with the soaring ‘Baby Don’t Lie.’

The new track is her first release in eight years and trust us, she has not missed a beat.

‘Baby Don’t Lie’ is typically Stefani, making use of sped-up reggae percussions whilst her unique vocals erupt from her soul, unleashing almost a decades worth of singing silence in just over 3-minutes.
