Atlanta rock trio The Coathangers are about to release their fourth LP Suck My Shirt this Thursday October 23rd via Smack Face Records, the title of which actually refers to an incident involving the salvaging of spilled tequila during the recording session for the album.

The first record from the band without keyboardist Bebe Coathanger (aka Candice Jones), Suck My Shirt signifies a new sonic direction for the garage rockers, as guitarist Crook Kid Coathanger (aka Julia Kugel) explains, the who album is “a balance between overthinking and just going for it… Ultimately, every album is a snapshot of who we were at the time”.

Spontaneous, energetic, snotty garage rock, The Coathangers’ Suck My Shirt is out tomorrow, but ahead of its release you can stream it below. The band have promised an Australian visit in 2015, dates below.
