With each new release, Sydney’s resident buzz band, DMA’s, have proven themselves more and more worthy of the hype that’s surrounded them since they first caught our attention earlier this year with their debut single, ‘Delete’. Now, they’ve returned to prove that the Britpop revival is really happening with their new single ‘Laced’.

‘Laced’ is the second cut to be taken from the band’s forthcoming 7″, which is slated for release on Friday, 14th November. The release of the double-single comes as the band prepare to embark on tour dates in the US and Europe, hitting up venues in LA, New York, Amsterdam, and across England.

DMA’s have had a staggering rise since they debuted, particularly impressive considering the band only played their first live gig several months ago. They’ve refused to slow down since then, unveiling a well-received debut EP — which took number seven on the Australian iTunes chart — completing two sold-out tours of Australia, and more.

It looks like fans can expect more good things to come from the Newtown favourites, with ‘Laced’ coming as the follow-up to the recently released ‘So We Know’. Both tracks were recorded in the band’s Newtown share house, ensuring the track has the raw, lo-fi atmosphere and charm of their debut EP.
