It’s that time of year again, the time that ravers and hip-hop heads alike count the sleeps till, the Future Music Festival 2015 lineup has finally arrived. Once again, organisers have provided revellers with a massive lineup of international talent and local heroes, including Drake, Avicii, The Prodigy, Martin Garrix, and more.

Rounding out the bill are the talented likes of Afrojack, Nero, Example, Die Antwoord, Sigma, 2 Chainz, Blasterjaxx, Robin Schulz, Klingande, Gorgon City, Carnage, Bassjackers, and Yellowclaw, with more still to be announced.

It’s a sterling follow-up to last year’s bill, which was another eclectic mix of everything from dubstep and trance, to hip-hop and R&B, including Deadmau5, Pharrell Williams, Phoenix, Hardwell, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Eric Prydz, and more.

Announcements for 2015 kicked off earlier today, when organisers confirmed the first act set for the 2015 Future Music lineup as Canadian singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and dancer Kiesza. The acclaimed artist said she is “super, super pumped” to be heading Down Under and admitted that she’s “been dreaming of coming to Australia my whole life”.

Drake has been the one of the biggest names dominating hip-hop in the past year. His third album, Nothing Was the Same, was one of the most highly anticipated releases of last year in any genre. Released to critical acclaim, Drake followed-up with a massive joint tour across the US with brother-in-arms Lil Wayne.

As for Avicii, the Swedish EDM giant has become a regular visitor Down Under and is currently readying his next full-length studio effort, which is set to feature a raft of big-name collaborations, including tracks with Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, and more.

The dates and venues for Future 2015 were announced last week, marking a return to Sydney’s Royal Randwick Racecourse, Perth’s Arena Joondalup, the RNA Showgrounds in Brisbane, Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse, and the Adelaide Showground.
