It’s been over four years since blues-rock outfit The Dead Weather released their sophomore record, Sea of Cowards, a killer 11-track LP that scored the band a sizeable following.

Having teased fans earlier this year with a snippet of an upcoming track, the four-piece have at least revealed a full version of the new tune, ‘Buzzkill(er)’, and it’s damn good.

‘Buzzkill(er)’ is a straight-up-and-down rock sound, backed by basic percussions and echoing licks that trip into acid-flashbacks of ferocious guitar scratchings as Alison Mosshart’s earthy vocals act as the saving hands pulling you out of the sonic mind-bend.
