When your name is Drake and you’re at the top of your game, you can pretty much do anything you want.

The rapper turned 28 this week and decided to celebrate by casually sharing three new downloadable tracks on SoundCloud to piss off would-be hackers just because he felt like it, god dammit.

At this point verging on untouchable, all three tracks sound like they could be lead singles for the next album.

‘6 God’ sees Drake on his who’s-on-my-level, ‘0-100’ type flow, instantly giving clubs worldwide their latest and staunchest trap arms anthem.

In the middle there’s ‘How Bout Now’, which takes the intensity down a notch and as Drake takes us through his latest unrequited love narrative; while ‘Heat Of The Moment’ is a woozy, slow-burning R&B joint stuffed with plenty of his signature falsetto and heaps of feelings.

If this is the kind of stuff Drake can afford to just give to us for free out of nowhere, like some kind of modern day Mother Theresa-meets-Beyoncé, the thought of what he’s sitting on for that looming LP is undoubtedly sending shivers down his rivals’ spines as we speak.
