The world’s number one, most famous, all-girl Japanese power pop outfit, Shonen Knife, unveiled their awesome 19th full-length studio album, Overdrive, earlier this year, and what better way to celebrate than by bringing their renowned live show Down Under?
Currently in the midst of extensive touring all around the world with their brand new raft of tunes in tow, the critically acclaimed trio will finally be making it down to the great Southern Hemisphere in January 2015.
Kicking things off as special guests at Hobart’s MONA FOMA 2015 and Brisbane’s GOMA Future Beauty UP LATE, they will follow up by rocking their way across Australia, with performances in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Best of all, their tour will commence with a very special MONA FOMA Faux Mo performance on Saturday, 17th January, during which the group will play a special tribute to one of the most legendary groups of all time, The Ramones.
