Shamir, aka Shamir Bailey, is a 19-year-old musician from Las Vegas and the latest signee to XL Records/ Remote Control Records (the home of FKA Twigs, Le1f, Gil Scott-Heron, and Jai Paul).
To celebrate the signing, Shamir has released the addictive new single ‘On The Regular’, which is a sugar-coated hybrid of tUnE-yArDs cowbell percussion, THEESatisfaction RnB weirdness, Cakes Da Killa flow and straight up house production.
Earlier this year, the young singer/rapper released his stunning Northtown EP via Soundcloud, but now Northtown is set to be repressed, extending the original run of 100 to 1000.
