It’s without any doubt that Australia has most certainly found their party kings of 2014, Peking Duk.

We recently spoke with Reuben Styles and Adam Hyde about their massive banger ‘High’ which has ruled the nation’s airwaves this year. On top of that, they’ve smashed through their sold-out “Peace, Love and Sweatiness” national tour that begun at Splendour In The Grass Festival (one of our favourite moments of the festival) and just released the dreamy escapist video for ‘Take Me Over‘, no question – this is the year of the Duk.

To add another jewel to their shining crown, they just delivered one of the best Like A Versions that Triple J has seen this year, covering the one and only, Kylie Minogue and her unforgettable ‘I Just Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’.

The pair from Canberra were joined by the angelic Olivia McCarthy, aka JOY., and a quartet from the Sydney Chamber Orchestra and believe it or not, the results are absolutely stunning.

The combination of creatives may sound a little confused, however the coming together of JOY.’s enchanting, silky vocals with the soaring four-piece symphony backed by the almighty Duk’s electronic productions add depth, transforming a seductive club tune to a tormented stream of obsessive consciousness.

We definitely hope to catch this one live, but until then, dig the crazy cover right here:
