Every week a plethora of big name acts, Australian musicians and little-known musos drop brand spankin’ new tracks on the internet. We’ve trawled through the internet to find some of our favourites and plucked them from the masses. Grab your headphones and enjoy.

Shamir – ‘On The Regular’

19-year-old Las Vegas musician Shamir is the latest signee to XL Records / Remote Control Records (the home of FKA Twigs, Le1f, Gil Scott-Heron, and Jai Paul). To celebrate the signing, Shamir has released the addictive new single ‘On The Regular’, which is a sugar-coated hybrid of tUnE-yArDs cowbell percussion, THEESatisfaction RnB weirdness, Cakes Da Killa flow and straight up house production. ScotDrakula – ‘Shazon’

After releasing their catchiest song yet earlier this month the Melbourne trio are already back with a second taste of their debut self-titled album. Much like ‘O’Clock’ the follow-up ‘Shazon’ is an infectious little garage ditty although the latter is just a touch more upbeat. Matt Neumann’s drawl is even more raw this time around though as he repeatedly enforces “I’m getting high in the backseat”. Have ScotDrakula outdone themselves again? (CT)

Drake – ‘6 God’

Drake turned 28 this week and decided to celebrate by casually sharing three new downloadable tracks on SoundCloud to piss off would-be hackers just because he felt like it, god dammit. At this point verging on untouchable, all three tracks sound like they could be lead singles for the next album. ‘6 God’ sees Drake on his who’s-on-my-level, ‘0-100′ type flow, instantly giving clubs worldwide their latest and staunchest trap arms anthem. The Dead Weather – ‘Buzzkill(er)’

Having teased fans earlier this year with a snippet of an upcoming track, The Dead Weather have at last revealed a full version of the new tune, ‘Buzzkill(er)’, and it’s damn good. ‘Buzzkill(er)’ is a straight-up-and-down rock sound, backed by basic percussion and echoing licks that trip into acid-flashbacks of ferocious guitar scratchings as Alison Mosshart’s earthy vocals act as the saving hands pulling you out of the sonic mind-bend. Young Magic – ‘Ohhhh Owwww’

Melbourne based producer, singer, and RnB wunderkind Banoffee (aka Martha Brown) has been hard to avoid of late. Since releasing her futuristic, left-field pop gems ‘Ninja’, ‘Reign Down’, ‘Let’s Go To The Beach’ and ‘Got It’ a track which our writer described as “a highlight of her recent live shows” she’s now been remixed by talented Aussie/NY trio Young Magic. The group have re-invented Banoffee’s ‘Ohhhh Owwww’, bringing layer upon layer liquid smooth production to produce a four minutes of dreamy psych dance hybrid. (Staff)

Iggy Azalea feat. MØ – ‘Beg For It’

Everyone’s favourite rhyme-slinging, platinum-headed Mullumbimby girl, Iggy Azalea, has unveiled her latest single, ‘Beg For It’. For her latest dance floor-ready jam, Azalea has linked up with acclaimed Danish singer MØ, who takes over the reigns from previous collaborator Charli XCX on a track that has all the hallmarks that made ‘Fancy’ one of the biggest singles of the year – a bouncy hook, earworm chorus, and plenty of name-spelling. Teen Sensations – ‘Monster Beach Party’

Just in time for Halloween, Teen Sensations have released their brand new single ‘Monster Beach Party’, a follow on from previous hit single ‘Peruvian 60′, which dropped earlier this year. For those uninitiated, Teen Sensations are Brissy dreamboats Georgie Sensation (George Browning), Your Sensation (Yuri Johnson), Jerry Sensation (Jeremy Neale), and Corky Sensation (Corey Herekiuha) together the guys produce bubblegum surf pop, separately they each feature in about 100 other bands around town. Nicki Minaj, Drake & Lil Wayne – ‘Only’

Having recently alluded to the release of a brand new single, Nicki Minaj has just dropped ‘Only’, which features YMCHB mates Lil Wayne and Drake and an appearance from the always controversial Chris Brown. Referencing the constant circulating rumours of Minaj’s close relationship with her labelmates, she raps “I never f**ked Wayne, I never f**ked Drake, all my life man for f–k’s sake” which follows with the tongue-in-cheek, “If I did, I’d ménage wid them and let them eat my ass like a cupcake”.
