So the time has come to announce the first lineup the very first Cultivation Fest! We are so excited to bring to you what we believe are some of the best acts from around Melbourne, all at the beautiful St Kilda Espy on Sunday November the 23rd!

ONCE WERE WILD – Melbourne based indie rock band formed in 2013. They’ve just released their debut single ‘Reverie’ which has had airplay on Triple J and rave reviews on blogs like Indie Obsessive

The Essentials– An indie garagey rock band hailing from Melbourne, Australia. They released their ‘self titled’ debut EP in March on independent label Pasttime Records, and have supported acts such as Stonefield and Woody Pitney.

Biddlewood – Having just signed with Decibel Records and recording/releasing their debut EP, all girl trio Biddlewood has been featured in the likes of Beat Magazine, on Triple J and local radio, and is set to have a big 2015!

Pinball Machine (Official Band Page) – A four piece Alternative Rock Band, inspired by the sounds of Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Black Keys, etc. The band has supported the likes of Boss Moxi and Luke Morris, as well as playing numerous shows around Melbourne.

Jaron Natoli – A young singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Jaron won the UK Songwriting Contest in 2013, and has been featured on the likes of Today Tonight and on YouTube where his song ‘Running Away’ has surpassed 44,000 views.

Culliver – A singer songwriter/band of the Indie, Pop and Roots genre regularly playing shows around Melbourne. Their soon to be released self-titled EP (“Culliver”) coming out was produced by Cam Trewin (Saskwatch, Owl Eyes, Lisa Mitchell) and Brian Lucey (Arctic Monkeys, Beck, The Black Keys).

Isobel Caldwell Music – 18 year old Hong Kong-born, Melbourne-based singer and songwriter. Isobel began busking on the streets of the CBD and performing at open mic nights since the age of 15 and over the subsequent 3 years, has thrown herself head first into Melbourne’s thriving local live music scene. Isobel draws influences from a range of genres such as traditional and contemporary folk, jazz/blues and alternative rock.
