Attention punters, our lovely Aunty Meredith has some exciting news for us all, the set times for her wondrous music festival in December have been announced.

With the grand 24th edition of the celebrated musical extravaganza a mere three weeks away, the playing times are always a nice refresher for lucky ticket-holders of the incredible list of artists that are performing, plus that even better reminder that there’s only one stage, meaning you could see every single band’s set, if you wanna.

The very first act to hit the ‘Sup on Friday arvo will be none other than Aussie punkers The Hard-Ons. Following this, the gravelly voiced Screaming Trees and QOTSA associate, Mark Lanegan and stoner rock sludge merchants Sleep will blitz the stage.

The neo-psychedelic specialists The War On Drugs will take the coveted Friday night headline slot before British DJ James Holden takes over the amphitheatre in the early AM with his hypnotising live show.

Saturday is laden with rock and hiphop, with pop-punk outfit Cloud Nothings bringing their furious live show in the afternoon, followed by emcee Ghostface Killah drops beats as the sun begins to slowly descend.

That evening will see the great return of Aussie rockers Augie March, whilst the hotly anticipated and highly prolific garage virtuoso Ty Segall and hiphop heavyweights De La Soul will smash apart the ‘Sup well into the night.

If you can muster up the energy, which for these artists you totally should, Sunday features Krakatau, Marlon Williams, Jen Cloher, The Lemonheads, Sun God Replica and of course everyone’s favourite spectacle of the festival, the Meredith Gift.

Meredith 2014 is set to be an absolute corker, we cannot wait to boogie down with a tinnie in hand. See y’all at The ‘Sup!
