Drake has announced he will perform his first-ever headline shows in Australia this February and March when he’s in the country as part of the highly anticipated 2015 return of Future Music Festival. The Canadian hip-hop superstar will be hitting up venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane, joined by 2 Chainz.

Rumours of a potential headline run from the Started from the Bottom rapper circulated last week after several sharp-eyed Twitter users spotted posters featuring Drake’s trademark owl — the logo of his record label, October’s Very own (OVO) — and the URL draketour.com.au strewn throughout Aussie cities.

Upon visiting the link, users were immediately presented with a countdown clock that was set to expire at 8am on Monday, 24th November 2014. Tone Deaf had confirmed that the website domain is indeed legitimate as it is registered to Mushroom Music Pty Ltd, the owners of Future Music Festival and presenters of the tour.

The Toronto native has already announced a headline performance for New Zeland, playing Auckland’s Vector Arena on 23rd February with 2 Chainz, before making his way over to Australia for FMF shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane, joining the likes of Avicii, The Prodigy, Die Antwoord, and many more.

Readers can check below for all the dates and ticketing details of Drake’s upcoming run of Australian headline tour dates. The Frontier Members pre-sale starts Thursday, 27th November, with General Public tickets set to hit sale 10am local time Monday, 1st December.
